In accordance with the TRAC Constitution the TRAC Standing Committee is advertising two positions on the Standing Committee open for election at the TRAC AGM, which will take place at the annual conference in Durham on March 31st, 2017 in the Arnold Wolfendale Lecture Theatre at 12:20 pm. One of the open positions is due to the expiration of a pre-existing Standing Committee member’s term (as Lisa Lodwick’s initial three year term elapses – elected in 2014 at Reading), while the other is a new position created in response to TRAC’s recent and ongoing growth.
We welcome candidates of any nationality and at any stage in their academic career that are interested in contributing to the development of TRAC as an institution and the advancement of theoretical approaches within the field of Roman Archaeology.
If you are interested in running for a position on the TRAC Standing Committee, please contact us in advance so we can add your name to the ballot. To run and vote in the election you must be present at the TRAC AGM in Durham. Each candidate will have two minutes to outline their skills, experience, and reasons for standing and a decision will be made at the AGM after a closed vote on paper ballots.
