TRAC are inviting applications from higher education institutions to bid to host the 2023 Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference.
The conference is a central point in the academic calendar in the field of Roman archaeology and for Roman archaeology students as well as early career and established research communities in the UK and beyond.
The Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference 2023 will take the format of a fully remote event to minimise travel and allow maximum participation from across Europe and beyond. We encourage participation from institutions which have no prior history of hosting TRAC due to their smaller size or remote location, but the application process is open to all higher education institutions.
We are looking for expressions of interest from a team of postgraduates and early career researchers based at either a single higher education institution two from within the same region (i.e., the East Midlands, Cornwall etc. or any non-UK region). The team should also secure support from at least one member of the permanent academic staff per institution to provide senior support and academic oversight.
For further information and details on what to include in your bid, check out: Call for expressions of interest to run TRAC 2023
