Webinars Current Webinar Season 2023 – 2024 TRAC Webinars were first introduced in 2020 as a response to the global pandemic of Covid-19. Their objective was to enable connectedness, and the sharing of ideas in a situation where no in-person academic conferences were possible. Due to their popularity and the format’s ability to connect academic communities across countries, continents and timezones, TRAC have been carrying on with the webinar series ever since. Our webinars are open to all, free to access through Zoom and provide a safe space for discussion of in-progress ideas. Every year we issue a call for submission of abstracts (early summer) so if you would like to present your work, look out for the announcements on our Twitter and Facebook pages and through Archaeology and Classics mailing lists. Each year we also invite a keynote speaker, and since 2022 we have chosen to embrace gender equity and to invite both an opening and closing Keynote Speaker. The keynotes are specifically chosen to reflect cutting edge practice and theory by established academics of professorial ranking and to provide an opportunity to bring them into the conversation with the ECR community.
